The Big Tour (Part 3): Snow Peas

Snow Pea: (Peulen in Dutch) We planted these everywhere. To start, Matt threw a bunch of seeds around this little tree in our front yard. Above is a photo of me, our front yard, and the tree.
Matt was hoping that the vines would wrap around the tree, but they just like hanging out along the ground, all bundled together.
They are very productive and we've been eating a lot of them. They're sweet when they're fresh.
We started these from seed and they grew very fast. In six weeks they were producing food for us, and their flowers are very pretty. They look a little bit like white snap-dragons. Now they're about 10 weeks old.
